Remember, beauty is never skin deep. Nothing only exists because of the shell it belongs to or has been given. Bearing this in mind, whenever we want to change anything, whether it be physical, mental or emotional, (our appearance, feelings and thoughts) the change ONLY occurs from changing your thoughts, thinking patterns, and your feelings about how you see yourself. For example, we change our looks easily and have any amount of cosmetic surgery we could afford, but unless we feel beautiful inside, we will never feel beautiful outside. We must first love ourselves in order that we can love others. If we don't know how to even treat ourselves with love and compassion, how could we every treat anyone else with the same? No one is saying it's easy to change the way you think, I certainly know it's not. But how much money would it be worth to you to be happy in your life, with all aspects of your life? Could any amount of money ever make up for you being miserable and unhappy in your life? If you truly believe you are happy in life and you think it's all genuine, then all I ask you to do is take all the material things away out of your life and imagine that all you have left is your family, friends, pets, the roof over your house with no objects in there and last of all yourself, your body, including your feelings, thoughts, thinking patterns and physical looks and your good health. Would you still be content and happy, with the most important things in your life you have left? If the answer to that question is no, then don't you think it's time YOU found happiness within? Instead of just looking beyond that and to other people and material objects in your life, which will give you a little satisfaction for a short time only, which are all purely false hopes. Life is truly amazing if you allow it to be and the moment you allow yourself to be happy and love yourself for who you are is the moment you will never look back on your life and only look forward and be so happy and positive about everything in your life.

We all have choices and we are responsible for thinking those thoughts which then go on to make those choices in our own lives. It really is as simple as just changing the way you allow yourself to think. Get rid of all the negative thoughts you have and replace them with positive and happy ones. If we keep thinking of all the bad things which have happened in our life’s, then we are only dwelling and giving them some relevance in the right here and right now, we are giving these feelings power over us. If we think of all the wonderful things which can happen in our future and be determined to go out there and find our paths and goals and reach our dreams and each know we are capable of catching them, then we are thinking positive already and things will start to improve. The richer you imagine your life to be, mentally, emotionally, physically, spiritually and financially, then again you are being positive and the more those things will readily come into your life. Our own worst enemy is doubt, for if we doubt anything, we will never give anything the conviction enough to try and achieve.

REALISE WHATEVER EVER YOU TELL YOURSELF YOU ARE, IS SIMPLY ALL YOU WILL EVER BE......

CHANGE YOUR LIFE RIGHT NOW, BY SIMPLY CHANGING WHAT YOU THINK. TELL YOURSELF YOU ARE FIT, HEALTHY AND HAPPY AND JUST WATCH HOW YOU BEGIN TO FEEL...

Do you realise, every single thought and action you have ever had in your entire life, has made you the person you are today and what you are. We are the only one's to blame if this is not how we wanted to be. Each person you have ever met in your life and each place you have ever been, was somewhere you had to be and someone you had to meet. Everything happens for a reason. But we can make those simple changes ourselves to be the reason. If you can't change something, change the way you look at it.

POSITIVE AFFIRMATIONS

Can I suggest something? This may sound a little strange and so simple how could it possibly work? But if you just try it and persevere, it WILL work, I promise. There is only one small thing you will have to do throughout and that is to stay positive and think positive! You must start telling yourself, in past tense, (like it’s happened) you are fit, healthy, happy, positive and each cell in your body if free from disease and infection. As you do this, you are re-programming your brain, to how it's thinking right now. Start each day telling yourself this and through the day any spare moments you have, keep telling yourself whatever you want to feel, (but the same each time). Again before you go to bed, but for the following day. eg.'Tomorrow I'm so happy, healthy'.etc.. This is re-programming your brain and planting seeds, which you will soon see the benefits of. What you are actually doing, is instructing your mind to carry out the orders you have given to it, the instructions are then passed onto your body via the water. I've studied many Holistic/Alternative therapies, and all you are doing here is similar to self hypnosis and the same techniques that a hypnotherapist carries out, but MORE powerful. Don't underestimate the power of YOUR mind, we are what we think!

Try these simple techniques and I promise you if you continue for at least a week, they will work. If you continue to use them, you will just feel better each day.

Each and every day, tell yourself what or how you want to feel in past tense

I'm happy, healthy, beautiful and fortunate etc etc

Also add in each and every cell in my body, is completely free of disease and infection (this is a preventative measure)

All blockages have been removed from my body and my mind, body, spirit and soul are completely balanced

Whatever you decide to choose to say make sure you say the same every day as many times as possible for the result to be quicker. Any spare couple of seconds you have in your day, keep on telling yourself all of these positive things. Stop being so hard on yourself and tell your body nice, positive things for a change each and every day. You'll begin to feel the results and see the results for yourself. Also be ALLOWING for these changes to take place and open to everything you are saying.

DON'T FORGET, each and every cell in your body knows what to do to be healthy. Spiritually at the very core of your being, there is wisdom which resides there, wisdom which will always tell you the right thing to do. You are the source of all wisdom because you are part of the divine, even though you don’t know it, you may not believe in it, you communicate with the divine every day. Your cells are infused with that wisdom, trust it. Ask your body what it needs in order to get well. Your body isn't going to tell you to take a drug or have a surgical procedure. Your body is going to tell you what is missing. You may, or may not hear the actual words telling you what is missing, most often you will get an inner feeling of rightness, a sacred inner knowing which happens when we come into contact with truth. If you learn to pay attention to this inner knowledge, you will be the recipient of the universe's most powerful knowledge. Your body will give you a hint about what nutrient might be missing, what cleansing procedure might be necessary, or what changes you need to make in your life. The trouble is, most people do not listen to their inner voice, which has already told them all of this. They try to lead with their intellect instead of just letting go and following their inner wisdom. Plant the seeds of good health in your mind right now.

The same applies to visualising anything, always make sure it is in past tense, (like it's already happened or you already have something)

If you want to be slimmer, just tell yourself the weight is dropping off me and each time you see yourself, imagine yourself how YOU want to look. Please don't tell yourself your fat or anything negative, because if you do, YOU WILL BE!

Another good thing to imagine/visualise is yourself in a bubble, which protects you from everything negative or all the positive icons from all the electrical equipment around you. Your body with this bubble, acts like a bio shield to protect you.

Try all these techniques and see how you go. You will only notice improvements and see improvements. Let me know how you get on.

Each day I tell myself I'm fit, healthy and happy and each day I'm all of these. It really is that simple and if you DON'T try it, how can you ever rule out whether it works or not?

DON'T YOU REALISE WHATEVER EVER YOU TELL YOURSELF YOU ARE, THAT IS SIMPLY ALL YOU WILL EVER BE......

Meditation

Meditation is definitely the most powerful tool of the New Age Consciousness.
Historically this practice existed many, many thousands of years, being rediscovered again in the last century. We can read about meditation in the Bible, Bhagavad-Gita, and many other scriptures. It became a major therapeutic practice that helps people to find peace, harmony and overcome stress. I cannot pretend to be an expert in this area, but of course I had practiced it for a while. What is a meditation? It is a state of your mind, when you tell your mind what to do, not vise versa. Usually in the life of the ordinary person he or she is subject to the uncontrolled flow of thoughts, like "I need to buy a milk today", or "Tomorrow will be rain", or something else. In the meditation, you tell your mind what to concentrate on, and cast away all distractions. To be able to do so, you will need to go through several preliminary steps.

First step: realize that you are not this body, but your body is your tool or shell you are living in.
Second step: realize that you are not your mind, but your mind is your tool and you are using it.
Third step: realize that you are not your emotions and feelings, they change but you remain the same
Note that each step is a process and can take more than one day or even more than one month to experience. When you actually understand your true position toward your mind, body and feelings, you can start meditating. Find a place where no one will distract you. Sit comfortably and relax. When you are ready, you can start concentrating on simple object, like a candle. Or it can be just an idea of a candle. Try to think about this object all the time, without distractions. Distractions will come and you will cast them away, return to your object of concentration. This exercise can be first very frustrating, because your mind, being not trained yet, will try to keep control over you. But eventually exercise will bring you to the state when you will overcome your mind and see how easily you can control it.

There exists many ways and techniques of meditation, and mentioned above is probably the most easiest one. Another way of meditation is just repeating some mantra many, many times. It is called mantra meditation. Some techniques emphasize breathing. In the Bhagavad-Gita, Krishna says: "Meditation is better than the knowledge." This is because knowledge is something your mind has (controls), and meditation is having (controlling) your mind itself.
Meditation is impossible without renunciation of some kind. Those first three preliminary steps were, in fact, first renouncing your body, then renouncing your mind, and finally renouncing your emotions. Renunciation is not a rejection. When you renounce something, you can still have it, but you understand that having or not having it does not affect you.
I will bring you an example. Let's say I have a candy in the refrigerator and someone comes and steals this candy. If I did not renounce candy, I will suffer from the fact that I had it and it was stolen. In the renounced state, I will say to myself, "this does not have any effect on me", and forget it.
Another example: Your colleague brings a birthday cake to the company where you work and shares it with everyone. By some weird chance, she forgets you and you are left without cake. If you did not renounce the cake, you will suffer and have some weird thoughts. If you have renounced it from the very beginning, you will say to yourself: " this does not affect me at all", and continue rejoicing.
As you can see from those examples, renunciation does not bring you suffering, it brings joy. I would define renunciation as "rising above" something. In the same way you can "rise above" your body, your mind, your feeling, and then meditation becomes the way of your life.

Time Travel

Time travel has always been a dream of man.
In the present, there exist at least two theories of time travel. First and more ancient, is a metaphysical approach. From this point of view time travel can be performed in our light bodies (astral, spiritual, and so on) while our physical body is resting somewhere in the quiet place. The practical implication of this theory is far too complex, involves many years of meditation and generally beyond of what an average human can do.
The second approach is a scientific one. Although traditional science have many times questioned our spiritual values in the past, we are not enemies at all and ready to recognize that the scientific approach in no way contradicts the basics of spirituality. Fortunately, science already has enough theoretical information in order to declare that the time travel is possible in our physical bodies.
It's all began in 1905, when Albert Einstein published his Special Theory of Relativity. He said, that when you are traveling on a relatively high speed, like 180,000 miles per second, you begin to see things differently than other stationary observer. Under such velocities time flows much slower than for the rest of the Universe. If you are travelling to a distant star and your travel takes about two years with the speed of 180,000 miles per second, than for the rest of the Universe will pass 2 million years and you may not find any of your relatives alive when you come back. In fact, the whole planet may be so changed that you will hardly recognize it. What's the point? Some scientists prove, that if you somehow manage to pass the barrier of the speed of light, which is 186,000 miles per second, that means the time in your vehicle starts counting backwards, and you are moving back in time. With good practice you may manage return home just after the moment of your departure with all your travel taking no more than one day on the Earth's clock! This may seem impossible for most of us, yet the formulas of the Theory of Relativity prove that it is true.
The main problem remains where to find such a powerful engine, to be able to achieve the speed of light and go beyond it? Here we need only wait for the right technology to come. There are already enough theories of how to use black and white holes, wormholes and stuff like that but those are all just theories.

Yoga

Yoga literally means "unity" meaning a way of attaining a unity with God.
There are many different branches of yoga, and each branch is a complete religion with their own gurus, spiritual masters, and discipleship. We will cover the most significant branches of this ancient Hindu teaching, starting from the easiest.

Astanga Yoga. The traditional, eight-step way of attaining unity with god is called Astanga yoga, or classical yoga. It is described by ancient sage Patanjali in his work Yoga-Sutra.
The Astanga Yoga has eight steps, which are recommended for practice in the following order: yama, niyama, asana, pranayama, pratyahara, dharana, dhyana and samadhi. The final step samadhi is a state of absolute bliss and unity with God. In order to reach that final state though, you need to spend couple of years mastering your body and mind first.
Yama means moral perfection and it's prescribed rules are ahimsa (non-violence), satya (truthfulness), asteya (non-stealing), brahmacharya (sense-control) and Aparigraha (neutralizing the desire to acquire and hoard wealth).
Niyama means practical cleanliness, modesty, self-control in eating and other natural urges.
Asana and pranayama are the two parts of hatha yoga.
Asana is an art of body postures, of which every one has it's own medicinal and psychological value. This is what most of the people think about when they hear the word "yoga", although yoga is much more than just asanas. Asanas play important role in the development of human body. The scientists recently found that the practice of hatha yoga can significantly improve your overall health and healing.
Pranayama is a yoga of breathing. The correct breathing is a key to you physical and emotional well-being. Pranayama controls the energy (prana) within the organism. Next four levels of Astanga Yoga are dealing with the mind, emotions and spirit. This is where the fun begins.
Pratyahara means "withdrawing the senses". The mind is trained so that you can voluntarily break the link between mind and senses and withdraw any of your five senses at any time. You can stop hearing, or stop perceiving scents, or stop seeing and later regain this ability again. One needs to control his/ her senses to be able continue on the path of Astanga yoga.
Dharana means "concentration of mind". This is where the meditation starts. It is a rather advanced step when a person concentrates all attention on one particular object without any distraction.(it can be a material object, like a flower or it can be an idea) This state implies ability to control your thoughts and mind, otherwise you will not be able to give all your attention to one object. Read more on this in the meditation section.
Dhyana means "contemplation". It is a point where you begin to know the truth about the object. (Never experienced it myself, though). This is a state when your awareness of the object of your attention is steady and flows like a quiet river.
Samadhi is a final step in Astanga yoga. Not too many persons in this world have ever achieved this state. It is a state of unity with God. In samadhi our personal identity-name, profession, family history, social security number, driver's license number etc. completely disappears. In the moment of samadhi none of that exists anymore.

Karma Yoga. Karma yoga is a yoga of action. If you want to compare it with traditional Christianity, it's the Mosaic law. It says that if you perform good actions, you will receive good in your present or next life. If your actions are evil, you certainly will reap what you saw. Knowing what is good and what is evil is essential for if you don't know what to do, you cannot be saved from results of your actions. Every person is performing some actions, both consciously and unconsciously, even when he or she is resting. In Bhagavad Gita, there are several chapters dedicated to karma-yoga. Lord Sri Krishna explains new and revolutionary view on karma (action). The central idea is that it is not the action itself that matters, but the motivation for your action. This is true, because certain people may seem to be very good but deep on the heart level they are doing it just to draw attention to themselves and gain popularity. The truly wise person does everything as an offering to Krishna. This is a perfection of karma yoga called karma yoga in Krishna Consciousness.

Jnana Yoga. This is a yoga of wisdom. Jnana Yoga teaches that "Liberation is attained not by works or ceremony, but by knowledge alone." One who chooses this path studies the conclusions of the seers by reading the great scriptures and commentaries, then examining them in the light of his own intelligence and coming to his own realization.

Raja Yoga. Some people consider Raja Yoga the same as Astanga Yoga, because it does use asana and pranayama, yet the main object of Raja Yoga practice is the mind. Its goal is a complete stilling of the mind, so that the light of the indwelling spirit may shine out. It is considered a "Royal" path, very straight and powerful teaching.

Kundalini Yoga. This is considered the most dangerous form of Yoga and should be practiced with care. It's goal is to awaken the latent subtle energy (serpent Kundalini) hidden in the base of the spine, pierce all the seven chakras and emerge at the top of the head. This yoga is promising a great powers of mind and ability to see the thoughts of other people.

Bhakti Yoga. Bhakti Yoga is a yoga of love and devotion to the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Lord Sri Krishna. Brought to the Western World by Bhaktivedanta Srila Prabhupada, this is the best way for people who prefer living by the heart than by the mind. Any knowledge, power or realization without love is vain. Worship to God is the only goal of our life.

Tantra Yoga. Tantra is a way of attaining unity with God using sexual energy. This is unique teaching in that it does not prohibit sexual involvement, like some other yogas do. It uses sexual intercourse as a way of awakening the Kundalini energy. The lovers undergo a variety of meditations and rituals before they actually make physical contact and maintain the spiritual link or bond throughout the lovemaking process. The emphasis is not on the sexual release as an end in and of itself, but rather on sex as a channel through which the union with God can be attained.

THE MORE YOU THINK ABOUT THIS, YOU MAY NOT REALISE BUT IT’S 100% TRUE.

1) At least 2 people in this world love you so much they would die for you.

2) At least 15 people in this world love you in some way.

3) The only reason anyone would ever hate you is because they want to be just like you.

4) A smile from you can bring happiness to anyone, even if they don’t like you.

5) Every night, SOMEONE thinks about you before they go to sleep.

6) You mean the world to someone.

7) If not for you, someone may not be living.

8) You are special and unique

9) Someone that you don’t even know exists, loves you.

10) When you make the biggest mistake ever, something good comes from it.

11) When you think the world has turned it’s back on you, take a look: you most likely turned your back on the world.

12) When you think you have no chance of getting what you want, you probably won’t get it, but if you believe in yourself, probably, sooner or later, you will get it.

13) Always remember the compliments you received, forget about the rude remarks.

14) Always tell someone how you feel about them, you will feel much better when they know.

15) If you have a great friend, take the time to let them know they are great.

Don’t forget for one second, you are an amazing, intelligent and special unique individual, don’t let anyone ever change you or tell you any different! You are perfect just the way you are…..

Every thought and action we have ever had in our life’s, has made us who we are today and what we are. We are the only one’s to blame if this is not how we want to be. Each person you have ever met and each place you have ever been in your lifetime was some where you had to be, and someone you were meant to have met. Everything happens for a reason. But we can make those simple changes ourselves and be the reason

Hospital Window

A great note for all to read, it will take just 37 seconds to read this and maybe change the way you look at things.

Two men, both seriously ill, occupied the same hospital room. One man was allowed to sit up in his bed for an hour each afternoon to help drain the fluid from his lungs. His bed was next to the room's only window. The other man had to spend all his time flat on his back. The men talked for hours on end. They spoke of their wives and families, their homes, their jobs, their involvement in the military service, where they had been on vacation.

Every afternoon when the man in the bed by the window could sit up, he would pass the time by describing to his roommate all the things he could see outside the window.

The man in the other bed began to live for those one hour periods where his world would be broadened and enlivened by all the activity and color of the world outside.

The window overlooked a park with a lovely lake. Ducks and swans played on the water while children sailed their model boats. Young lovers walked arm in arm amidst flowers of every color and a fine view of the city skyline could be seen in the distance.

As the man by the window described all this in exquisite detail, the man on the other side of the room would close his eyes and imagine the picturesque scene.

One warm afternoon the man by the window described a parade passing by.

Although the other man couldn't hear the band - he could see it. In his mind's eye as the gentleman by the window portrayed it with descriptive words.

Days and weeks passed.

One morning, the day nurse arrived to bring water for their baths only to find the lifeless body of the man by the window, who had died peacefully in his sleep. She was saddened and called the hospital attendants to take the body away.

As soon as it seemed appropriate, the other man asked if he could be moved next to the window. The nurse was happy to make the switch, and after making sure he was comfortable, she left him alone.

Slowly, painfully, he propped himself up on one elbow to take his first look at the real world outside.

He strained to slowly turn to look out the window beside the bed.

It faced a blank wall. The man asked the nurse what could have compelled his deceased roommate who had described such wonderful things outside this window

The nurse responded that the man was blind and could not even see the wall.

She said, "Perhaps he just wanted to encourage you."

Epilogue:

There is tremendous happiness in making others happy, despite our own situations.

Shared grief is half the sorrow, but happiness when shared, is doubled.

If you want to feel rich, just count all the things you have that money can't buy.

"Today is a gift, that's why it is called the present."
